#NICETOBENAUGHTY, 2015 CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN


With Christmas approaching we started thinking about kids who were misperceived as naughty or mischievous, when they were really just badass and unique.  How do we elevate those kids and reward them, the only way Harley-Davidson can?

Recruiting a couple of rebellious elves from Santa’s Refurbished Toy Division to envisage and build a gift fit for such a kid, we posted the video with a call out for parents to tell stories of their children, their special ways, attitudes and actions that made them badass.

The video clip that launched the campaign was the first million plus viewed video by the brand (achieved within a week), registering 35,000 engagements and 1,200 entries in the promotion. The gift went to a very deserving little girl.

The campaign was internationally recognised and awarded one of L’ADN’s top 15 Christmas campaigns of 2015. Sharing company with the likes of John Lewis, Sainsbury’s and Walmart, it is the only nominee from Australia & New Zealand.
